Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Trudes, you're BLONDE? is this a hair color change (in which case, pictures, please) or a comment on absent-mindedness?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I grew up blonde and am still so internally.

It's only in the past few years, actually, that I've gone and done other hair things. My mental image of myself is still the goldy-blonde of my childhood and twenties.

So what color is your hair now?

STUNNED that you ask. Simply stunned.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

netflix sells stuff, but do you have a multi region DVD player? or just PAL?

Multiregional, from China. Plays most things. Obviously I'm All About Seeing Buffistas...but also there's the whole "Hey! Western World! Hey! AMERICA! DVDs of my shows!!!!" thing too, which is an extra frisson of yay.

...does this make me shallow?

hangs head.

So is netflix a shop?

netfilx is this lovely online rental service where you pay a flat fee and rent as many DVDs as you want. you return them by mailing in prepaid envelopes. the service is fast, too. I usually have a 2 day turnaround (as in, I mail it Monday, there's a new DVD in my mailbox on Wednesday). They sell extra copies of stuff for $6 or $7

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Netflix (www.netflix.com) is a mail-rental service. You pay a monthly fee and you get X number of DVDs out at any time. When you send one back, they send another one.

You can buy previously-viewed DVDs from them.

Well, we did all see you last Tuesday, but you may have changed colors since then.

Fay, just checked the site, and some movies cost a bit more, plus they don't seem to sell TV series.
