Bunch of wanna blessed-bes. Nowadays every girl with a henna tattoo and a spice rack thinks she's a sister to the dark ones.

netfilx is this lovely online rental service where you pay a flat fee and rent as many DVDs as you want. you return them by mailing in prepaid envelopes. the service is fast, too. I usually have a 2 day turnaround (as in, I mail it Monday, there's a new DVD in my mailbox on Wednesday). They sell extra copies of stuff for $6 or $7

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Netflix (www.netflix.com) is a mail-rental service. You pay a monthly fee and you get X number of DVDs out at any time. When you send one back, they send another one.

You can buy previously-viewed DVDs from them.

STUNNED that you ask. Simply stunned.

Well, we did all see you last Tuesday, but you may have changed colors since then.

Fay, just checked the site, and some movies cost a bit more, plus they don't seem to sell TV series.

Hmmm...the last picture I saw, you had black hair. But that was awhile ago.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Oh crap. Need to PayPal juliana. Will do so presently.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Ah. Well it's TV series that I'm after, y'see - pirate copies of movies are easily available in the shops here, but my shows? nsm. (Although you can buy some, now that Virgin has finally opened. No pun intended.)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

FYI - for those planning to donate via PayPal &/or check - I'd appreciate having them in my hot little hand or bank account before next Friday, the 12th. Reason being, the various financial agencies can take up to 4 business days to put the funds in my account, which puts us at the 18th.

If you just can't swing it in time, there is a bit of float money available. Not much, but a bit.

Thanks!!!

I think I'm beyond the reach of sarcasm on this one.

Always Anti-fascist!

Ooh, Fay wants to watch "Homicide'...in what may be one of the more mangled transatlantic sentences ever, I'm dead chuffed, bunky. Quick tip: Homicide: The Movie is the end, so don't get it first because it won't make sense. Even with my astonishing fanon. The full title is Homicide: Life On The Street, which, Buffy fashion, geeks type as H:LOTS.(but we are your people because we never skip that semicolon, do we? No.)
