We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Our wings are not tired

Everyone needs a bosom for a pillow.

This might need to be a tagline.

Our wings are not tired.

...which reminds me - is there going to be a SingAlongaOnceMoreWithFeeling? I know some folks hate that kind of thing, and respect that stance, but it really does float my boat.

Please! It floats my boat too.

I am a compulsive hugger - Deb can attest to that. So I apologize in advance for the hugging, but I am going to be so fucking GIDDY that I won't be able to help myself.

I'm in the compulsive hugger group. Be forewarned.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Fay! Nora! Vortex! ChiKat! Laura! Everyone!

I used to not hug at all, but my current circle of friends are all huggers. So now I hug, but I hug badly. You could lose an eye.

Yahoo has a new airfare site

I used www.sidestep.com and feel I should spread the word to those what don't know of it.

I like www.kayak.com.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Or, you know, Other People could kidnap and entertain her for a few hours.

I'd considered that option but figured it'd be best to play it simple first but it's good to know there's a back-up.

This might need to be a tagline.

The 'bosom for a pillow line' comes from a great song by Cornershop - I think 'Brimful of Asha'. It actually repeats the line quite a few times so it could almost be a F2F anthem.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That is the song, Pete. I'm a bad person and actually prefer the Fatboy Slim remix, which is more uptempo and fun.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hanging out with Deena in Cleveland waiting for Deb's flight to arrive. I see her coming down the concourse and leap out of my seat, running toward her, arms out for a flying hug. Halfway there, my mind goes, "Do we hug?" "I think we're too manly," then she looks up and sees me and one side of her mouth quirks up in a grin. I didn't actually tacklehug her, because I know about the achey issues. But really? The grin was almost as good as the hug.

I will hug anybody who will hug me back.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Having to hang out with other Seattle-istas? Would just be awful.

Heh.

(Plei, if you KNEW how many random co-workers, family members and wee Egyptian children have been shown pictures of Squeak for all the world like she's my neice...well, it's a trifle mad. But she's just THE most adorable thing. She kills me ded. Repeatedly.)

I used to be very unselfconsciously huggy at University. I remember it. Dimly. Now I tend to be sort of prickly-English-half-assed-huggage-while-keeping-one-arm-free-in-case-the-hugger-turns-out-to-be-a-vamp-and-I-need-to-make-a-break-for-it kind of deal. Sort of like Early Wesley. Only shorter and rounder, and with more dirty pillowsbosoms.

Which is really, really sad, actually. Damn.

(Loved the Cornershop song. Although I think that the version I knew, which was the one that did really well in the charts, was a remix. Although I didn't think it was by Fatboy Slim. Huh.)

Naw, the chart hit was the same as the album version. I'm 99% sure.
