Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Hey Chi! I still haven't gotten any offers for PromNight (that sounds a little wrong), so I may need to take you up on it for Saturday. I should probably discuss with my hostess, huh?
Speaking of - Sparky, insent.
I envy all the eastcoasters who can get a roundtrip ticket for under $250.
Me too. Who's offering rt flights for $250 from the east coast???
Couldn't tell you, but Vortex said she got hers for $129 each way, so $258 total. Not bad.
Before taxes, mine came to $282. After, it was $320.
Sounds like very few folks are getting really good deals. Perhaps it's the website they book through. I've tried Expedia and Orbitz, sometimes CheapTickets, but I usually end up with Expedia because I get closer to what I want than with the others. Does anyone have a different one to recommend?
I hate living in Madison when it comes to buying airplane tickets.
Sail, is your Madison in Wisconsin? IIRC, there's a bus from your city to O'Hare. I rode one many times between O'Hare and Janesville, and I think it continues to Madison.
Downside: Three-hour bus ride on top of the flight. Plus, O'Hare crowded and very confusing to the uninitiated.
Does JetBlue have a flight you guys can use? They won't help me when I'm staying on the same coast, but they were awesome when I flew San Diego to NYC.
edit: This was in ref to the NYCers. No idea whether they're active in the middle.
Airfare rises with the price of oil, so I'm not surprised that good deals are hard to find these days.
I use Travelocity. (The prices are the same as Orbitz/Expedia, but I prefer their interface, and since I use them for everything, I get a few Preferred Member perks, like discounts on car rentals and some hotels.)

I am flying JetBlue, and my ticket is over $300.
