Our wings are not tired

If 60 people then ~$37.50 per person needs to be raised.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

ND, so we figure on that, and if we exceed the bar tab - which I suspect is not even going to be a question - and there's more money raised than is needed, we reimburse, or - what?

Brain hurts send help.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I suggest that if we have money left over, we donate it to the B.org operating fund.

If there's extra we either put it into the b.org fund or save it for next year.

I'd also rather just shoot for raising the full $2500 and paying to have the open bar. Otherwise the folks who are drinking are getting saddled with making sure that they spend at least $500 to get the room comped. I'm not sure what our ratio of drinkers to non-drinkers is here.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What are the costs/options for the open bar?

Brenda, don't know, but I can ask Lilibeth about it.

Oh, and in re the Prom cost, we'll need to give the hotel a 25% deposit - if my math is right, that's $375 plus whatever tax, but bumping it to $500 would be my own suggestion, if that's okay with Laura.

I'm good with whatever. Just let me know what you need.

I'll even make 'em stock something uber-dry and bubbly for me, since that's the only alcohol I drink. Heh.

Mmmm. This works for me.

Whoot! I have tickets! Arriving Thursday about 8 PM at San Jose - anyone else coming in around then? And then leaving Monday noon. Yay!

We can do that right now, if need be.

juliana, nope - they say they don't need it until about a week before the event. My own take would be to let the reserve build up a lot higher first.

Memo to self, ping Lilibeth about the cash bar deal.
