Our wings are not tired

Ok. So probably between 40 and 55 songs to play for the party.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Yep. A nice chunky setlist.

My wants:

Who: Long Live Rock (from The Kids Are Alright)

Stones: Sympathy for the Devil or She's a Rainbow, or both.

Beatles: Your call. Anyone's call. Dood. It's the Beatles.

Kinks: Lola or Apeman or both (DX! Dude! Represent, bro!)

I'm open on a lot of stuff, but that's my list of Give the Geezer Point Person/Retired Rocker Something to Dance To.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I would also like to request some funk, please. Play that Funky Music or Jungle Love etc.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Everyone just post what you want and I'll put something together.

Play "Muthaf***a On A Motorcycle" by Machine Gun Fellatio. Oh! And "Common People", the William Shatner version!

Hee. Play Bowie's "China Girl" too.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I will not be there, but I will know your love for me spans this great country if you play NSync and/or Justin Timberlake. Do this, and think of me.

Please, any Bowie that's not that one. Please? Or warn me when it's coming up, so I can flee for a few minutes.

But Bowie - hmmmm. I vote either Suffragette City or Rebel, Rebel.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I move that billytea's suggestions be stricken from the record, because he is meeeeeean.

Nah, I actually agree with you. It's just a reference to me now dating a Chinese citizen.

But get some Bowie into it. Suffragette City would be apropos, IMO.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Drinks: I like Jack Daniels, and would also possibly partake of some Scotch. And I love martinis (gin), the dirtier the better, but have no brand preference.

Food: I will beg for the antipasto tray if necessary, and the cheese platter.

Music: "Bohemian Like You", The Dandy Warhols; "The Pop Singer's Fear of the Pollen Count", The Divine Comedy; "Stacy's Mom", Fountains of Wayne; "Skullcrusher Mountain", Jonathan Coulton; "Hounds of Love", The Futureheads; "Destroy Everything You Touch", Ladytron; "The One You Love", Rufus Wainwright. You know, assuming anyone else besides me wants any of these songs.
