It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Play Bowie's "China Girl" too.

Please, any Bowie that's not that one. Please? Or warn me when it's coming up, so I can flee for a few minutes.

But Bowie - hmmmm. I vote either Suffragette City or Rebel, Rebel.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I move that billytea's suggestions be stricken from the record, because he is meeeeeean.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Nah, I actually agree with you. It's just a reference to me now dating a Chinese citizen.

But get some Bowie into it. Suffragette City would be apropos, IMO.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Drinks: I like Jack Daniels, and would also possibly partake of some Scotch. And I love martinis (gin), the dirtier the better, but have no brand preference.

Food: I will beg for the antipasto tray if necessary, and the cheese platter.

Music: "Bohemian Like You", The Dandy Warhols; "The Pop Singer's Fear of the Pollen Count", The Divine Comedy; "Stacy's Mom", Fountains of Wayne; "Skullcrusher Mountain", Jonathan Coulton; "Hounds of Love", The Futureheads; "Destroy Everything You Touch", Ladytron; "The One You Love", Rufus Wainwright. You know, assuming anyone else besides me wants any of these songs.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

But get some Bowie into it. Suffragette City would be apropos, IMO.

I'll put in a call for "Golden Years." Because it's so fun.

"Bohemian Like You", The Dandy Warhols

And "We Used to Be Friends," for the VM fans. And "I Am a Scientist." For me. Because it's so fun.

"Destroy Everything You Touch", Ladytron

"Playgirl" has a nice dance-y beat. And it's pretty. Same for "Blue Jeans."

Oh, I imagine the Arctic Monkeys' "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" would be appropriate.

We are saving at least ten songs - maybe more - for classic rock.

We reallyo trulyo are.

I am prepared to be (Debet! Theft alert, I'm stealing your phrase because I love it) Wicked Pissy about it.

Seriously. There were maybe a handful of songs that I even recognised on the DC list. Power pop for the children is fine, but me and my Grey Panther homies, well, we're digging in heels for something recognisable this time.

Or, at least, I am....

Eww.

Brown hyenas actually produce two different substances with which to mark their territory. One wears off fairly quickly, and announces to other pack members where they've been recently. The other lasts for weeks, and warns off other hyena packs. And that, my friends, is one talented arse.

Hey! Get hold of the Rogue Traders' Voodoo Child!
