I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, as much as I enjoy my booze, I'm not too picky on anything other than beer. A few good beers in there and I'm happy. I'm partial to microbrews and I know there's some very good ones out Napa and Sonoma way, I just can't remember the names of them.

As for food, I'll eat anything that's not actively running away from me. I will admit a partialilty to seafood of all types and lots of fruits and veggies. And anything with an Asian flare.

Our wings are not tired.

Nice selections. My favorites:

Spring Rolls with Sweet and Sour Dip $120.00

Calamari Frito with Lemon and Cocktail Sauce

Domestic Cheese Board with Sliced Fresh Fruit

California Rolls

On the drink front I’m a wino. Dry and bubbly is also very nice.

I'm getting the pig!

For Vodka I like Ketel One, Tequila I like Porfidio or Patron, Gin is Bombay Sapphire...what? Me drink? I'd also love to have some single malt scotch there.

Just in case ND drinks all the booze, I'ma bring a flask...

As for me: Gin and tonic or foofy drinks. Like vodka cherry sours. Yum!

I actually accidentally got us in a little trouble at the LA F2F by having a flask with me. The cash bar via the hotel was a bit upset about it.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Reminds me, I need to make a note to myself: disposable plastic wineglasses for the hospitality suite, and cups and whatnot.

Yes, the anal-retentive retired caterer in me would rather set out my buffet ware and actual glasses. I just really do not feel like washing the damned things afterward.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

if there could be some Starbucks liqueur on hand for espresso martinis, I'd be much obliged

I can supply this. It may never leave the room, but I can supply it.

Heh.

ND, I want to put in a request now, Point Person's Privilege:

I want some genuine old school rock, damn it. I know, I know, lots of stuff from the eighties and nineties is beloved, but damn it, you have a couple of geezers this time and I'm one of them and I WANT SOME VINTAGE SEVENTIES ROCK, maybe even sixties. And I do NOT mean disco or prog stuff.

Get me some Stones: Sympathy for the Devil is a good start, I will always listen to It's Only Rock and Roll, and She's A Rainbow, well, you're playing my song, honey.

Get me some Who.

Get me some Kinks, damn it! Lola. Apeman. Well-Respected Man.

Get me some Clash, London Calling works.

Bob Seger. Oh yes, what was that group's name again - oh, right, some BEATLES.

Want old school. Please, sir.
