Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

I'm getting the pig!

My love of the badges, I must admit, is purely for keepsake reasons. I love my LA one and it hangs on my Buffista Photo Board in my room.

But if no one is able to make them, that's okay too.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Nicole, I just edited my post a little to reflect (I hope) why I'm anti-nametag.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

For practicality, I like Steph's idea. For sentimentality and keepsake possibilties, I like the fancy lanyard style. It all boils down to whether or not anyone offers to make them. If not, well, I'm down with writing sarcastic comments on sticky tags.

Exactly!

I'm getting the pig!

So maybe just get some stick-on Hello My Name Is tags?

Oh! I know this one. Slim Shady!

Oh, Tep, I fully understand where you're coming from and since most of us know each other already (from pictures, if not from actually meeting in person), name-tags aren't exactly a necessity.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

By the way, may I chime in to say how much I appreciate the work by Deb this year and Kristin and ND did last year, and whoever did the DC F2F. I've done a little meeting organizing and I truly suck at it, so I really appreciate that someone who's better at it than I am is willing to put in the time and effort to make this happen.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Heh. I LIKE organising, although I suspect I may be getting a bit too old for it, or at least too weighted down with writing. But truth is, I like throwing parties and cooking for people. Speaking for me, only for me, I'm a very social animal and very much like being surrounded by the Humans, assuming I get to pick said Humans, which in this case, is all of y'all.

Badges, nametagse, easy with either or neither. Again, no shyness, so I don't mind blinking at someone and saying "Right - I recognise the face but I need a name, svp?" But I know that a lot of people do squirm at having to ask.

The status is NOT quo.

I plan on just calling everyone "Fiona". That's okay, right?

(snerk)

The number on the poll results is now at 45. I just realised, though, that I'm an idiot: 45 is the total who answered, not the attendees. Stoopid math.

Bother, said Deb...
