I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Expedia.com just lost my business by trying a last-second switcheroo on airline prices though. I don't know if it was a glitch increasing prices at the final confirmation step or a deliberate attempt to squeeze more money, but I'd recommend people try booking through Travelocity or other services instead.

The same thing happened to me when I tried to book tickets between London and Edinburgh. I clicked out angrily and went back a couple times, and then it eventually gave me the original price again.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Bad news, y'all. I just discovered that graduation for my school is the F2F weekend...and my attendance is mandatory. Really. No way of getting out of it -- it's one of two mandatory events for teachers. I KNEW graduation was mandatory...but I thought it was the frirst weekend in June, when school lets out.

I will, very sadly, NOT be coming to SF. DammitdammitDAMMIT.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, Erin, that sucks.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Erin, what day is graduation? If it's Friday, or even Saturday, can you catch a redeye out and party on the rest of the weekend? Maybe stay over Monday for the aquarium trip? I have yet to meet you, and I thought sure this year would be the time!

--Because, you know, it's all about me.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Word - is there any way we could have you for a just-before or just-after kind of deal? 'Cause I bet there'll be Buffistas hanging around...?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I'm with Bev and Fay. Can you sneak out after the graduation ceremony? Which day is it? Because if it's Friday, or even Saturday, you could be here in time for Prom and so quality hanging-out time.

In other news, I'm not sure what the approved method in the past is for handling this, but I have a need and an attendent question:

How would I go about getting a good close ballpark estimate of how many attendees we're going to have at Prom? Because obviously, that's going to affect a) how much food we order for the buffet, and b) the individual cost to each person attending.

Based on what I'm seeing, this particular F2F is going to be a goodish size. But are we talking thirty people at prom? Fifty? A hundred?

Right now, they have us pencilled in as a 70-person event, but that's tentative and they know that. So I'd like to get that number closer to reality ASAP, so we can start sending juliana money for this.

Email? Or...?

How do I find out?
