I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Seany - how are you and S getting up to SF?

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

We were thinking of driving, provided we can get my car into better shape by then. We're also thinking of taking like a week and a half long trip, but that will possibly be affected by the next gig my production team does.

Our plans are a little in flux right now, but they definitey include attending.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

The BF and I are def. coming. We have plane tickets and have already made hotel reservations. We fly in and out of Oakland (in on Friday, noonish, and out on Sunday around 6-ish).

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'm at the hotel from Thursday until Monday, so that's 4 room days right there.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm there from Wednesday night through Tuesday morning, so there's another four.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Toddson, that's six, isn't it?

Yup ... but I didn't think the ones outside the four block nights counted. If they do, even better! (I really can count, honest.)

Damn, good point, about the outside-the-block - never thought about it.

I have an email in to Sheila Fonseca, about setting up a sit-down with the staff to go over stuff.

I'm getting the pig!

For those of you that haven't reserved your room yet and are NOT planning on going home on Sunday:

Call the hotel to make your reservation ASAP. I was able to reserve a double bed room just fine for the 19th and 20th but not for the 21st. The girl on the phone said that all of the double rooms are already booked for the 21st.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm reserved for Friday, Sat, Sun, and I think Monday also. Also I got a double in case someone needs to room.
