Although, considering the drive to the airport, going through security, waiting to board, collecting baggage at the other end, and then getting from the airport to the hotel ... driving may be quicker.
And Juliana, insent.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Alsoalso, is any SFista interested in dinner at Helmand's on Sunday? Around 7, maybe?
It appears that I have our guest room back, so I can offer East Bay accomodations, pre F2F. I will be staying in SF Fri/Sat/Sun.
I live very close to the Oakland airport and am happy to provide shuttle service, though I do need to work until 2:30 on Thursday.
MG, we might fly in and out of Oakland. We might take that guest room for Thursday night and maybe Sunday night as well, if you don't mind.
I want to fly, to be perfectly honest. So much easier. Em travels on planes well and cars ok, but it's so much easier flying. Maybe.
I can get us in and out of Oakland for less than $400.
That can work my darlin!
YAY!!!!!!
Seany - how are you and S getting up to SF?
We were thinking of driving, provided we can get my car into better shape by then. We're also thinking of taking like a week and a half long trip, but that will possibly be affected by the next gig my production team does.
Our plans are a little in flux right now, but they definitey include attending.
The BF and I are def. coming. We have plane tickets and have already made hotel reservations. We fly in and out of Oakland (in on Friday, noonish, and out on Sunday around 6-ish).
I'm at the hotel from Thursday until Monday, so that's 4 room days right there.
