Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

Our wings are not tired

I'll be there. In fact I'm in SF right now and I'm test driving the F2F hotel.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

How is it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does it accelerate well?

The status is NOT quo.

I'll be there too.

Is it standard shift or automatic?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well, we're in San Francisco, so obviously Team Zmayhem will be here.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Nevermind

Seems to be a nice clean hotel. I've got a king bed in my room that's comfortable enough. Desk staff was nice, and the internets work.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I just love that I had to move to the bloody city to actually make it to a F2F.

Yes, I'll be there.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Point person here.

As we get closer, I need to know who gets in on what day, so that we can make sure the hospitality suite is stocked with food.

Also, want to remind anyone coming from some lovely pastoral place where hotels do not charge their guests for parking that SF, alas, is not one of those pastoral places. We are gorgeous and with almost everything I love, but the hotels charge for parking, and the HICC is no exception.

I'll remind everyone about it as we get closer, of course. This is merely to forestall any outrage over not being reminded that parking costs moolah in this town. Does in LA, too; when we stayed at the Ramada in WesHo, parking was fricking $19 a night.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I'm planning on attending this year. I'll need a vacation pretty bad by the time it rolls around.
