F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Point person here.

As we get closer, I need to know who gets in on what day, so that we can make sure the hospitality suite is stocked with food.

Also, want to remind anyone coming from some lovely pastoral place where hotels do not charge their guests for parking that SF, alas, is not one of those pastoral places. We are gorgeous and with almost everything I love, but the hotels charge for parking, and the HICC is no exception.

I'll remind everyone about it as we get closer, of course. This is merely to forestall any outrage over not being reminded that parking costs moolah in this town. Does in LA, too; when we stayed at the Ramada in WesHo, parking was fricking $19 a night.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I'm planning on attending this year. I'll need a vacation pretty bad by the time it rolls around.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Deb, did you see this in the Chron today?

11 Things: Birthdays and Remembrances

3. Put on the Stones' "Beggar's Banquet" and "Let It Bleed" and dig once again the piano playing of Nicky Hopkins, born Feb. 24, 1944.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm seeing pretty good prices right now from JFK to OAK on JetBlue.com.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I have a plane ticket and a hotel reservation.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Tom and I will be there. He's been confirmed for Java One and I have my time request approved.

It is TOTALLY HAPPENING. (DX, do not roll your eyes!)

We still need to work out our plane/hotel stuff, since some of that may be dictated by his work stuff.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I'm taking the week after the F2F off, through Memorial day. Where should I go after SF?
