I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The camera came out after Tom, Frank, and I left for faraway Salem.

After we dropped off Frank, we tried to get home, and the poorly plowed road leading to our street was blocked by some fool in a Mercedes who had no idea how to drive in snow was literally spinning his wheels. So we feel like asses for just sitting there watching and waiting, and go to try to push him out. Bad move. Not only are we weaklings unable and unfit to push the big bad German car, but I slip and fall right on my knee.

Cranky making end to a very fun evening.

Sabur was yummy, the company was great, and meeting Deb was fantastic! (also Jon and FAQ Wife are Too Cute)

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Nora, you could have used Nic's old Toyota longframe Land Cruiser. You could have pushed the Mercedes into the next county. But OUCH on the knee; that's a poor payback by the cosmos for trying to help, damn it.

Tree-trimming party in reading today, and I finally get to meet Cindy!

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Smacks self in head for not checking F2F sooner.

Crizzap!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Gronk.

Tired, happy, back at Jon and Mrs. J's (best hosts ever), after a day out in Reading. And I have now not only met Cindy, but Cindy's girlchild, and she and my friend Sandra have met each other, and so have their girlchildren, and it's all good.

Out tomorrow earlyish for the shuttle to NYC. I've had such a superb time here, I'm going to need all sorts of reasons to come back all sorts of times.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

And Vortex missed her flight.

stupid security. My wallet fell out of my purse and I didn't notice when I put my purse into my carryon. so, I couldn't board the flight.

Had a lovely time with Deb in Boston. My steak was indeed perfect, they did medium rare nicely. and let's not forget the onion loaf. mmmmm. wierdly smooth mashed potatoes though. i'm used to the trendy bit of skin with lumps so that you know that they're real.

sorry to miss the party on Sunday, but getting out to Reading, and then to the airport would have taken so much time that I would have been there for about an hour. I just went shopping instead. It was right next to the airport! Plus, I didn't get to shop on Friday because of The Snow. You couldn't see five feet. It was crazy. Luckily, it abated in time for me to meet Deb.
