Very, very glad for Deb's safe arrival.
Also glad for Juliana's apartment, because she deserves many, many good things in this new start.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

yay, Deb in our time zone! glad you got here safe and sound, and now you get to enjoy Boston in the snow. Which, can either suck or be sort of nice. At least the snow has made things a bit warmer than the last few days.
Yay on the safe deb arrivage!!! Boo on the Vortex flight missing.
Nora, is the final plan for dinner Saturday Sabur at 6 pm, or is it still a tentative?
Yes, I believe that will be the plan; I'll make a reservation today and send out an email to the confirmed attendess.
Woohooo!
Morning, all. I would like to say that Jon and FAQ girl rock way too hard to play in the regular rotation.
I'm-a take a shower, get dressed, and head out into the Great White World. Why yes, it's snowing. Current plan is to walk to Davis, and get the T to Harvard Square. I may need taller boots than the ones I've got with me.
Deb, I think Porter is closer to Jon's place. I think you can also take cover at the strip mall in between.
I think so too, but I can't get the T to Harvard there, can I?
yep you can. It's all the red line: (going inbound) davis, then porter, then harvard.
Yes you can. Porter is commuter rail AND red line. Harvard's the next stop going inbound.
However, I would advise against if you in any way suffer vertigo. The main escalator at Porter is the longest and steepest I've ever seen.
heh, inevitable x-post from the local-istas.
