Nora, I've been crazy at work so I haven't had time to respond to any e-mails on my home addresses. I'm definitely up for dinner, either 6 or 7 is fine as long as I know in advance, and while I know I love Elephant Walk, Sabur sounds interesting from its listing in Zagat, so either place sounds good. I'll probably be working Saturday at this point, so knowing in advance where and when will be muy helpful.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

And Jon, when you see this, please to email me your phone number(s)?

Is Sabur Indian? I may have to watch you all eat. As dearly as I love Asian food, keeping it on its designated path through the digestive tract is a bit iffy these days.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

Sabur is "Mediterranean".

Their site is here.

Elephant Walk is Cambodian/French.

OK, for dinner on Saturday so far, I have: Deb, me, Tom, Jon, FAQ Wife, Frankenbuddha, DX Machina. I was thinking it would be better to dine on the slightly early side (say, 6pm) so that folks not dining can stop by Jon's at a relatively reasonable hour, like 8pm?

Thoughts?

Sounds good to me. I'd also rather go on the earlier side as well, both for the reason you said, and that places tend to be less crowded at 6 than at 7.
