Punishingly Intricate

Hey! I'm going to be in California from tomorrow through Sunday 12/11. In Sacramento until Monday and then in SF! WHEEEE!!! Aside from Tuesday & Wed. morning when I'll be "luxury camping" down the coast, my schedule is pretty open.

Anyway, Hec & I had talked about getting oysters and champagne at the Ferry building. Which I am still totally down with! And I'm up for other food or other vacationy activities. For reals! I haven't had a longer than a long weekend vacation all year.

I can be reached at my profile address.

ION: NYC-istas! DH and I will be in your fair city 12/12-16. I plan on being exhausted from travel on monday when we get in, and we're seeing Spamalot on Tuesday night, but other than that our schedules are quite open. Drinks dinner, some sort of meeting?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I totally want to meet lisah.

yay, Deb in town! For Saturday- there's no Kate Book obligations?

What are folks up for? Dinner, then (I think) soiree at Jon's? Lunch stuff? Shopping? Sightseeing?

I think we need a list, with phone numbers. DX pinged me with some info, and a phone number, and now I want all sorts of phone numbers, damn it, and people to see. Cindy, and VW, Nora and Tom, and Emily, and Theodosia, and Victor and Lea and who am I missing?

I just sent an email to the Somerville list (cc-ing deb) with some thoughts for places to eat on Saturday night. It's by no means an extensive list, and I invite anyone with any thoughts to jump in and give feedback.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Wacky x-post, Nora. All your suggestions are good ones.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I wish I could come! I've been meaning to get to Boston for a while now, but there's no way it'll work out this weekend. Have fun!

Morning, all.

Just emailed the list - and Nora, Jon, can we add Vortex to the email chain? She's coming up from DC, which makes me all the way happy.

Oh, man, the Illuminations. It's been so. damned. long. since I saw Boston.
