Hi guys. So, I've made the decision. I'm going to visit America again next year. I'm going to attend DragonCon in Atlanta (September 1-4), and then traipse around the country according to a process of Brownian motion.
Any thoughts on places I should visit? Philly, New York, L.A. and San Diego are givens. I trust no one will take this the wrong way, but I pretty much put in the San Diego Zoo before I even start thinking about the people I want to catch up with.

San Francisco! Paxton Gate now has more skulls and penis bones than ever! Did you make it to the Marine Mammal Rescue Center last time? Up close and personal with mending seals and otters on sick leave.
Chicago: only free zoo in America (Lincoln Park Zoo); very nice un-free zoo (Brookfield); Shedd Aquarium; Field Museum (Sue!)
We need to do the photo safari at The Wild Animal Park. I also think at that time of year we may still be able to book the overnight stay actually out on the plains in the park.
Yes we need to do THIS!!!.

Point of order: the National Zoo in DC is also free, or was when I visited at the F2F. I will be visiting Chicago too, one of my best friends from Uni days now lives there. On past performance, Buffista-friendly free time will be hard to come by, but we'll see what can be done.

Ooh, good idea. It shall be so!
SNORE AND ROAR! SNORE AND ROAR!
September is the height of hurricane season. Come visit. You'll be blown away.
See, if you sneak off in May, you could do the 2006 F2F, here in SF.
BTW, I need to ping the Somerville/Boston folks about the weekend of 9 December; should I just do that in Beep Me?
I think Beep me is best at least to start, Deb.
