A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Something else to do that weekend: The Boston Bazaar Bizarre [link] is Sunday Dec. 11, where I have traditionally played theremin Xmas carols along with punk/new wave hits.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Damn - Jon, our friend Sandra has me booked on Sunday. It's her tree-trimming brunch, and it ought to be riotous good fun.

A theremin version of "I Saw Three Ships" would be a corker.

And my daughter is checking into whether or not I get a Very Posh Roof over my head for the two nights there, as a freebie; should know shortly.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have a car of my own now (well, until Friday), so it doesn't any more.

HEY!!!! What are you implying? That you want to RUN AWAY FROM ME or something?

It's my breath, isn't it. I really need to cut back on the coffee.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Not that I want to. But that I am no longer bound to you by my lack of transportation. So, now, I'm here because I want to be!

Well, that and I'm going to be sleeping on your sofa.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ho-kay.

SF on Turkey Day, here I come!

There are already a few things scheduled, but is there any karaoke? Boys in eyeliner playing punk? Joan Baez as a beautiful Gypsy? Bring it. I need to find an apartment, a job, and a social life. Lemme see what you've got, San Francisco!

(Seriously, can we do any of that? Anyone want to?)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

What day are you arriving? Wednesday? Thursday? Leaving Sunday night? Monday morning? We'll give you a big lovely selection of costumed decadences from which to choose.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I arrive Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. and leave Sunday afternoon. Deb, Jo, and I will be bombing around SF on Friday, picking out places for me to live, and I think there may be spa-ing Saturday day, but I'm not sure beyond that.

Ooooh, how about punk boys in eyeliner singing karaoke?

Hi juliana,

I don't usually post here. I'm one of Deb's Anarachs, though i haven't been posting there much, either, lately. We met when you were out here a couple Halloweens ago. (I saw JZ on Saturday!)

Has anyone taken you here?

It's your best bet for boys in eyeliner singing. I hear it's pretty tough to get on stage since it gets very crowded. I haven't ever been, since i don't sing.

I'm really looking forward to showing you around once you get out here for more than a weekend.
