You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Ho-kay.

SF on Turkey Day, here I come!

There are already a few things scheduled, but is there any karaoke? Boys in eyeliner playing punk? Joan Baez as a beautiful Gypsy? Bring it. I need to find an apartment, a job, and a social life. Lemme see what you've got, San Francisco!

(Seriously, can we do any of that? Anyone want to?)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

What day are you arriving? Wednesday? Thursday? Leaving Sunday night? Monday morning? We'll give you a big lovely selection of costumed decadences from which to choose.

I arrive Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. and leave Sunday afternoon. Deb, Jo, and I will be bombing around SF on Friday, picking out places for me to live, and I think there may be spa-ing Saturday day, but I'm not sure beyond that.

Ooooh, how about punk boys in eyeliner singing karaoke?

Hi juliana,

I don't usually post here. I'm one of Deb's Anarachs, though i haven't been posting there much, either, lately. We met when you were out here a couple Halloweens ago. (I saw JZ on Saturday!)

Has anyone taken you here?

It's your best bet for boys in eyeliner singing. I hear it's pretty tough to get on stage since it gets very crowded. I haven't ever been, since i don't sing.

I'm really looking forward to showing you around once you get out here for more than a weekend.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Heh. I was planning on doing the big ping, and juliana beat me to it.

Friday is the big bomb-around during the day, but I'm willing to bet Jo would also be open for a shitload of SOMA clubbing after hours.

edit: HILL!

The Mint has the cool rep, so that's totally a thought. And again, what about the SOMA scene? South Beach, some of the clubs that way? Shall I research?

I'll ask around at work and see what's happening that weekend. It might be kind of quiet around here with the holiday, though. There are a few young single people at work who Go Out a lot.

I also know of a place that's supposed to be great for Salsa dancing.

Jo still has masses of friends in San Francisco - my daughter is a social creature. And, in fact, a couple will be coming by after turkey, so we can see what's shaking then.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sad now.

Why sad? Because you'll be in Catalina and not here, to do karaoke with juliana and Hill and Jo?
