I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

Ok, so let's do lunch Friday around one? Whoo!!

Works for me! Besides, then Pete can have company while he's on break.

I won't have my cell, Joe has it most days, so Jilli - call my office number.

Okay. I'll probably call around 12:30-12:45-ish.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Will someone in Minneapolis be able to lace me into my corset?

Out the door.

Those two sentences are connected, but not directly.

Wheee! My flight's on time - and I am totally paying for gas or parking, sweetie, because the shuttle in is about $15.

Out the door in about five. My flight's on time.

And bringing little teeny tiny computer card thing with London Calling on it, just in case a) I get the yen, in conjunction with b) somkeone having a non-Mac computer.

But I may just let the rest of the chapter stew until Monday night, and party.

juliana, will a camelhair/cashmere coat be warm enough?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

WooHOO, I'm checked in for tomorrow's flight.

Juliana and SailAweigh, are we all set for tomorrow? (Plan as I know it is Sail picks me up at the airport, and we call Juliana from the hotel to arrange where to meet.)

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'm ready! Just a warning, though, Perkins. You may not recognize me at the airport. I, um, got a haircut. More than one, in fact, and it was a serious massacre. It's pretty much standing up straight in shock right now, plus the fact it's got half a tube of hair paste in it.

Oh, and since you have the address for the hotel, could you run a map from the airport to the hotel? I don't have a printer available or I'd do it.

Duly noted, and I will run the map.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I suppose I should start packing for this trip, huh?
