Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm home, too. And while I'm glad to be here, I miss everybody...

It was a fabulous party, Deb, the food was spectacular (I actually ATE. I never eat at parties. Too frenetic), the live guitar-playing and singing entertainment was stellar, and the company was superb. Even if I did spend most of the evening with the stairwell contingent, I got to see and talk to everybody who came.

There was the beautiful visit with -t, and her wonderful dad (who made us tea!), and Katie B's tour of her house and pretty, shady yard. Day tours and night tours of the hills and the city, Sausalito at sunset, day and night drives over the Golden Gate. Meeting at Maidengurl's lovely house, and going to dinner last night (fried sage leaves! yum!) with her and a bunch of Buffistas, both out-of-towners and localistas...

I can't believe how fast the weekend went, how pretty everybody is, how much fun it was. I cannot WAIT till May!

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

waaaaah. Have talked to Dan and between his schedule, my lack of vacation time & our lack of funds, Minneapolis at the end of this month ain't happening.

I'm so disappointed -- I would have loved to see Deb read.

OTOH, prospects for a trip in the spring are better. And if we do that, we could probably persuade my friend Miriam (whom some of you may recall from TT days) and her family to come down with us. So I'll keep an eye out in this thread for any more MN F2F plans.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Dani, so long as we do see you in the not desperately distant future, I will leave at least a fine coating of enamel on my molars, by not grinding 'em too hard.

But DAMN, that would have been killer good fun.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Minneapolis at the end of this month ain't happening.

I pout now, but I sympathize.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think Ozzie and Perkins miss you guys. They are both being especially freaksome.

Poor kitties, Perkins! My cats were so happy to see me, they both slept with me. Usually, it's only Tucker.

Aw, I miss Ozzie and Perkins-the-cat, too. And the red tub of Oz. And the den of laptops. And Perkins!

Last weekend is too long ago! May is too far away!

The status is NOT quo.

Attention anyone planning to come to the Halloween par-tay at my place this weekend: despite apartment and general life angst, it's still on, though by then it may be a Halloween/Bon Voyage party depending on the final inspection of my illegal dwelling Thursday. Please email ND or me or respond to the evite if you're planning on coming. There will be bat-shaped lights and spiderwebs and spooky Halloween noises and enough alcohol to make you a real corpse. Costumes are encouraged.

Gods do I need this party after this last week.

We're coming down, and I'll bring finger-food as requested.
