Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Deb, that rocks! I love Sausalito and it would be so cool to see the places you talk about in the book. I need to see if Laurel Burch still has a store there, I used to buy all my earrings from her.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

OK, have the message in to Sheila Fonseca. We shall confab over coffee and foofy pastry, and I shall take copious notes. On a day when I don't have a damned neuro appointment.

JZ, BTW, are you back at the office? I have a noon neuro about, oh, 90 seconds from where you work. Lunch?

Nearly forgot:

Because books.

I am not feeling at all bouncy today, but Angelino's, and spas, and people!, and SF...

Bounces away, a little feebly, but bouncing nonetheless.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I am one of the people who couldn't do the weekend of May 19-21 as I already have plans (eek!). But, SF and Sausalito and Berkeley with deb and JZ and Buffistas??? I am seriously reconsidering my previous plans.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Deb, yes, that'd be grand! My work phone is an eternal mystery.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Also, WRT spa days, the spa the wedding party went to the day of the Zmayhem Union is in Berkeley, is fairly inexpensive, and can accommodate 10-15 people as long as they're not all doing the same thing at the same time (IIRC, there are 2 hot tubs, 1 sauna, 6 massage tables, 4 massage pedicure chairs, and 2-3 manicure tables, and they do hot stone massage).

I've only ever had one facial in my entire life, but my MoH has had many, and says that the one at this spa was one of the most effective, the least pricey, and the absolute gentlest she's ever had (i.e., excellent pore extractions without a trace of blotch and red and ick).
