Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Well, the van rental was always the plan, whether it turned out to be the official F2F or a totally different visit. Thing about the van rental is, I think it means you two can fly out here, and not have to spend four days of your vacation on the road.

Unless you want to Kerouac it....

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm fairly certain there will also be a jaunt out to Berkeley, for heavy-duty Bay Area pimpage. It's even more aggressively everyone-accessible than San Francisco -- wheelchair access ramps for everything from dive bars to funky dance clubs to swanky art galleries to SF/speculative fiction bookstores to sex toy shops, ice cream parlors and vintage clothing stores. It'll make your head spin like a madly grinning top!

Berkeley rocks, yo. It rocks so damned hard, AM stations can't play it. I love North Berkeley; maybe there'll be some good music on at the Freight & Salvage? If there's interest, I can ask Danny Carnahan to keep us posted on that, as we get a lot closer.

Also want to find out if there's likely to be any interest in a local spa day.

Up with the sun

But ... they might make my skin feel all soft and smooth! I can't abide that.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Also want to find out if there's likely to be any interest in a local spa day.

Yo.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Pedicure! Another instance of putting polish on my toes that I don't take off for 6 months. I'm down for it.

Also, Berkeley! Never been there, but want to go and see what all the hoopla is about. I think the UW here and Berkeley are in constant competition as to who is the most liberal. As if it really matters. Still, gotta check out the competition.

(giggling like a debutante)

Excellent! I'll start with the data-gathering as we get closer: who wants do a nice funky spa-chair tips and toes thang, a la Nilly's visit, or if we want a hot tub/mud bath/facial,hot stone massage deal, or both. Things are wide open, which is way cool.

Those who WIP-read my new series, specifically the second book: I'm also proposing a dinner at Angelino, in Sausalito.
