I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I woulda voted for Vegas, but it wasn't happening.

Pimp Point: Hot guys in San Francisco? Tend to be gay fellas. Seattle? Your odds are better, ladies.

Um, I think my husband - and most of the straight guys I know - might have something rather to the point to say about that.

I mean yeah, plenty of hot gay dudes in SF - we didn't invent it, but we perfected it, before it was fashionable - but plenty of hot straight dudes, too.

In fact, beth and I? Both married to a couple.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Also, Matt, Jilli no doubt can find Cute Gay Boys aplenty.

A-yup. Pretty easily, in fact.

The status is NOT quo.

Just taking a moment here to say that I am so grateful we had the F2F in New Orleans this year. I wouldn't have seen it pre-Katrina otherwise. It is a wonderful, quirky gem of a city, and though I'm not really the praying type, I'm doing a bit of that tonight for the city, her history, and her people.

And Kristin sums it up.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Good news, ladies, we've got the all-clear to mack on Deb's husband!

Sheesh, people, I was talking odds. (I even SAID 'odds'). The bulk of the people in the conversation were straight girls so I was not dissing Matt or other gay fellas (hence, my use of the word 'ladies'). San Francisco having a high gay population is neither news nor a slam. It was a joke, not a social commentary. Godalmighty, lighten up.

I'm getting the pig!

Trudy, I didn't realize anyone was taking it seriously. It truly seemed *to me* as if people were just taking up the other side of your Seattle pimp joke.

I'm thinking it's a good thing I didn't make my comment last night about not looking for kilts, straight men OR gay men during a F2F.

Edit: Outside of Buffistas, that is. But not for hooking up with. Is this hole getting deeper?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Wanted to see it again.

DUDES!! Ok, those who went on the cemetary/voodoo tour in NOLA? OUR GUIDE was on MSNBC last night commenting on the storm! Joe and I were pointing at the tv and squealing!

So do I. Looks as if we may get a shot, after all - the storm seems have shifted slight straight north. Still bad, but a bit less bad. Fingers are heavily crossed, and wishing to hell I could do more than send a cheque, even though the cheque is going to be useful.

It truly seemed *to me* as if people were just taking up the other side of your Seattle pimp joke.

Yep. NOT taking it seriously, honestly. After all, we don't do much to dispel the stereotype in SF, so we don't really get to bitch too loudly when people run with it.
