And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

I'm getting the pig!

Barging in on the F2F convo for a quick second...

SailAweigh and I will be in San Francisco for about a week at the end of September (into the beginning of October) and would love to meet up with as many SF-istas (including surrounding area-istas and anyone visiting SF the same time we are) as possible.

For those interested in hanging out with one or both of us, feel free to join the "sf_trip_2005" community at livejournal to join in on the discussion and planning.

Community can be found here. Thanks!

The status is NOT quo.

Both cities look fabulous! I'm very excited, and it is going to be difficult for me to choose one or the other.

Also, hi! Miss you all.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'm going to be in Chicago over Labor Day weekend, and wonder if any Chicagoistas will be around to do lunch or dinner with me.

(I posted this in Beep Me, but it never hurts to repeat things)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm not a hundred percent sure i'll be in town, but if so, I'd love to get together. Keep us posted on your plans, Sheryl.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, voting starts tomorrow. Because we've only got 2 options, I'm trying to get as much gradiation as possible, so, the (potential) ballot:

San Francisco:

  • Oh, Hell yes!
  • That would be spiffy
  • Eh, I guess I'll go there
  • Uh, no

Seattle:

  • Oh, Hell yes!
  • That would be spiffy
  • Eh, I guess I'll go there
  • Uh, no

I, in my heart of hearts, would prefer:

  • San Francisco
  • Seattle

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I, in my heart of hearts, would prefer:

    • San Francisco
    • Seattle

  • I'm thrilled with either one!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ok. I assumed if peopel had no preference, they'd leave it blank, but I can put a tickybox option
