Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Cool. Because, in the event of it being SF, I was so not looking forward to that one...

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I did a quick check early on, and flights to SF or Seattle were the same price for me.

I edited with additional information Lois sent, and so also included the stuff Trudy posted above since I was in there anyway.

Deena, you're a peach.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Sigh...both cities sound great, but now I'm not sure I can go. G tells me he can't go because of the limited vacation time he has(and West Coast requires at least one vacation day for travel) and a)I can't afford the hotel on my own and b) I'd feel a little weird going to a F2F without him, even though he's not on the board. We'll see...

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm down for a three week Buffista tour with stops at Seattle, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

I'm good with this, although I might skip Vegas.

I'm getting the pig!

Barging in on the F2F convo for a quick second...

SailAweigh and I will be in San Francisco for about a week at the end of September (into the beginning of October) and would love to meet up with as many SF-istas (including surrounding area-istas and anyone visiting SF the same time we are) as possible.

For those interested in hanging out with one or both of us, feel free to join the "sf_trip_2005" community at livejournal to join in on the discussion and planning.

Community can be found here. Thanks!

The status is NOT quo.

Both cities look fabulous! I'm very excited, and it is going to be difficult for me to choose one or the other.

Also, hi! Miss you all.

I'm going to be in Chicago over Labor Day weekend, and wonder if any Chicagoistas will be around to do lunch or dinner with me.

(I posted this in Beep Me, but it never hurts to repeat things)
