Wow. Rock/hard place - except with two fabulous things on either side.
Exactly. So far, it's basically a no-lose. For me, if SF gets it, coolness. If Seattle gets it, less work and I get to go to Seattle, which I'll probably do in October, depending on the Barnes & Noble University Village schedule.

What, you can't make your own...?
Damn. 2 cities reporting, and already I can't make up my mind.
I'm blinking at the Seattle hotel guy's comments - I left out Sheila's (HICC contact) rapturous fangirling, in the interest of space. She used to moderate a net-fan community for "Beauty and the Beast"...
We're going to need an
all of the above
option.
I'm down for a three week Buffista tour with stops at Seattle, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
What, you can't make your own...?
Every day when I get out of bed.
Pretty!
I'll post a link in Press tomorrow, just to give time for edits before people who aren't usually in here do their look at it.
I've been pondering moving from a 3-option ballot to a 4 option (Strong positive, mild positive, mild negative, can't do). Any thoughts?
Any thoughts?
Sort of related (not to your specific question, but to pollness in general), I've been feeling kind of funny about voting at all - as a West Coaster, I'll be able to manage either location. Presumably the point person for whichever city gets it will want to add me to the head count and note me down for funds contribution for Prom, so I feel like I
should
vote so you get an accurate head count of likely F2F'ers; but then, neither location is make-or-break for me, so I feel like I
shouldn't
vote 'cause it might skew the results against people to whom it really, desperately matters. What's your preference?
Even as it is, there are 3 options for a city. "Love it!, Yeah, sure, and No". So, please, go ahead and vote, as the first line of looking-at is the "No" vote is the first line of decision. The others are only used if that's close.
