Our wings are not tired

What, you can't make your own...?

Every day when I get out of bed.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Pretty!

I'll post a link in Press tomorrow, just to give time for edits before people who aren't usually in here do their look at it.

I've been pondering moving from a 3-option ballot to a 4 option (Strong positive, mild positive, mild negative, can't do). Any thoughts?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Any thoughts?

Sort of related (not to your specific question, but to pollness in general), I've been feeling kind of funny about voting at all - as a West Coaster, I'll be able to manage either location. Presumably the point person for whichever city gets it will want to add me to the head count and note me down for funds contribution for Prom, so I feel like I should vote so you get an accurate head count of likely F2F'ers; but then, neither location is make-or-break for me, so I feel like I shouldn't vote 'cause it might skew the results against people to whom it really, desperately matters. What's your preference?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Even as it is, there are 3 options for a city. "Love it!, Yeah, sure, and No". So, please, go ahead and vote, as the first line of looking-at is the "No" vote is the first line of decision. The others are only used if that's close.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

JZ, I've never been sure about how the voting process works at b.org anyway (and please, no one try to explain it to me, because I hear things like "quorum" or "consensus"" and I run screaming; too many mechanics in there for me). But it seems to me that, if everyone in one of the potential host cities stayed away from voting on that basis, then the city with the highest concentration of actual residents would get the fewest votes.

I think. I could so easily be wrong - it seems awfully obvious, but after all, it's frickin' math.

Deena, just heard back from Javacat on hosting, and forwarded on to you for inclusion.

Always Anti-fascist!

I feel that I failed both as a Buffista and my ugly hometown and its inferiority complex. But, dress it up how you want, 105 F is still 105F. I guess I'm not gonna need the hat or the Cadillac now.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Thanks, Deb. It's been included.

Besides, Erika, wouldn't you rather go somewhere else?

If we had the F2F in Sedona, now that would be fun. Pricey I would think, though. I like Tucscon too. Or, hey, we could have it in Nogales and go over the border. Nogales is a little creepy and a lot dirty, and also hot. Huh. Not helping, I think.

Always Anti-fascist!

Someday, I want to host. But I've been wanting to get back to SF, and I've never been to Seattle and I want to go, so it's not like I'd *lose*. I'm just disappointed that I met every buttmunch in local hospitality.

Oh, yeah. That's discouraging.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Don't sweat it, Erika.
