Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Up with the sun

Steph, have you seen Cassandra French's Finishing School for Boys?

I read that! It was strange, but far from bad.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aimee, re an earlier question of yours, the only problem with renting just a hospitality suite and letting people scatter over the wilds of Sin City is that people wouldn't be able to wander down in ther passionkiller jammies and eat Doritos while watching cartoons.

I was thinking that for those who want to do that could get a room in that hotel - the majority of us will probably be in that hotel. I was just thinking that they aren't giving room rate discounts (mostly) since it's a weekend. I might have better luck getting a good rate on a meeting room.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Ah, got it. Sounds reasonable to me...

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aimee, have you looked into only reserving a block of rooms and then our having the prom at a club?

Throwing a party in Vegas is a bit like taking coals to Newcastle..

Our wings are not tired.

Cassandra French's Finishing School for Boys?

Finishing School is near the top of my threat list for my boys. They have one in Boca that sent me a postcard once and I kept in on the fridge until it somehow disappeared. Of course I also promise to send their dad with them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Steph, have you seen Cassandra French's Finishing School for Boys? It's sort of parody of chick=lit where Cassandra keeps 3 men chained in her cellar as she treats them to be better boyfriend material. Surprisingly funny in a surreal way.

This is a great book. Weird and funny.

Anyone driven from Michigan to Chicago lately? Recommendations? MapBlast is telling me to take the Indiana Toll Road again.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dunno - is there still construction there?

If you got the time, it might be fun to take a ferry across lake Michgan and then drive south from Wisconsin.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I haven't made the trip recently. I can fire off an e-mail to my folks and see what route they've been taking lately.
