I love the inclinators.
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
I guess tourism in Vegas is a whole different animal from other places.
boggles that it wouldn't be worth a half hour of someone's time to write out prices...
But why give us the rooms on the cheap before they know if they can sell them for more?
I suppose it depends on their average % of capacity.
On a weekend in May, nearly 100%. Even Excalibar wants 109 for Thurs and Fri and 119 for Saturday night. And $30/person/room/night for the meeting space.
I suppose I shouldn't get too involved in the discussion regarding prices - if we pick Vegas I'll almost certainly stay at Luxor rather than the host hotel.
It's funny you say that because Vegas is such a personal experience - ie, Deb = Bellagio, Matt = Luxor, Aimee= Mandalay when someone else pays otherwise wherever is cheap, that I wonder if getting quotes on just Hosp Suite/Prom Locale and let everyone choose their own hotel is a way to go with Vegas.
Thoughts? I'm not married to it, just a thought.
Bally's and Paris are also "no"s.
I know that I love the stuff center strip. I've had good rooms at Treasure Island and even at Bally's. The Venetian was very nice when I stayed there a few years ago.
The Sahara is one of the last old school casinos still going on the strip, it's up on the north end, but I've gotten many a cheap room there.
Oddly, according to Orbitz, the only 3 hotels tha have rooms that weekend are Circus, Circus, Excalibur, and Luxor. I do not feel that this is correct.
