Oddly, according to Orbitz, the only 3 hotels tha have rooms that weekend are Circus, Circus, Excalibur, and Luxor. I do not feel that this is correct.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

I think hotels only release a certain number of rooms to those sites, so it may be that all of the Bellagio's Orbitz-earmarked rooms are reserved, even if they're not booked to capacity.
Ah! Got it. Good point.
I don't think we'd want to have the gathering in Circus Circus in any event. Noisy, kids everywhere but the casino floor itself, I don't remember seeing extensive meeting room/ballroom facilities, and highly insecure parking garage.
insecure parking garage? should we help it with its self-esteem?
Oh gods, no. I'd rather party out in the desert than at Circus Circus.

You know what'd help?
Validation.
Circus Circus is kinda strange. It's one of the few hotels in Vegas I've not stayed at, though I have played the tables there a few times.
I love The Hard Rock hotel, it's off strip, but way cool. It's also expensive.
What about The Rio?

A Buffista Burning Man!
What about The Rio?
Not sure yet. They've not responded yet.
