I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

oops, the pub quizzes I know about are on Sunday (Thirsty Scholar and the Tir na nOg) and on Tuesday (that place I always forget the name of which is near Teele Square. Jack O'Briens or Paddy O'Reilley's or something like that.)

Oof. Let me see if I can find something Thursday or Friday night. The problem is, those are pretty high traffic nights, so pub quizzes might be hard to find. Perhaps some sort of hosted Trivial Pursuit game might be in order.

I'd be more than willing to host, but we don't actually own Trivial Pursuit.

aha! PJ Ryans. That's the name of the place that has it on Tuesday nights.

Which makes it irrelevant to this thread.

But I'm happy that I remember it.

Please, share my joy.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Well, foo. The pub quiz I frequented back in the day is on Tuesdays. Also, they experienced perfect happiness, and they make you buy dinner there before you can sign up to play, and it's all my fault.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'd be more than willing to host, but we don't actually own Trivial Pursuit.

I have a couple of editions.

That's a Saturday, right? Woo! Party at Kristin's! (er, you know, pending her approval of extra guests...)

puppy!

Hee! Yes, my place is, as always, open for extra guests. It likes Buffista parties. (Puppy likes them, too.)

Kate, yes, you and anyne else who'd like to come up or down that night are welcome.

Excellent! Then I'll definitely be there.

Oh, worth noting, though, that I think the main ND social Somervillian gathering is in Boston. I think there are plans for social gatherings on Thursday or Friday. I'm going to go up Saturday the 18th and hopefully will see folks before driving ND back down my way on his way to NYC. I think my house is more of a rest stop this time than party central...but as I said, I'm fine with people coming here, too.
