Yes, that will do. Even tho' I've never had a Sazerac. Was it tasty?
It was very tasty, much better than the ones I make at home. I hope it's due to the quality of rye whisky I use, as Peychaud's bitters and absinthe imported from France are about as good as I can do for the other ingredients. Or maybe it was the magic mixing spoon.
My not-so-exciting photos are mixed in with Tom Scola's here: [link]
You found a sushi place in the Quarter?
Man, those sushi pictures are making me hungry!
I can think of a couple of sushi places in teh Quarter, but I can't tell from the pictures if that's one of them.
Where is that crazy bridge? [link] Is it part of the sculpture garden?
Where is that crazy bridge?
That was in the park where our cemetary tour ended. I forget what the park was.
It was by Congo Square--the birthplace of jazz!
Louis Armstrong Park?
That might be it. There was a statue of Louis Armstrong there....
Cool. I'll have to go look for it. (eta: Have I mentioned how sorry I am to have missed the cemetery tour? And dinner Sunday night? And everything on Friday? Confusing the vampires is hard work, I tell you what.)
