"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I definitely think that dessert is a good plan.

It always is.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, and it looks excellent! Maybe we should scrap the vampire tour and do the VooDoo Cemetary tour on Thursday...?

The Cemetary is only in the morning, though. I think I'd still like to check out the evening one.

Also, just FYI...this link: [link] talks about dining options in the hotel itself. The restaurant is amazing, but expensive, and if you plan to eat there at night, there is a business casual dress code. Jackets are not required, but are suggested, and no jeans or shorts.

Considering we'll be surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the country, I'm not too concerned...but I thought I'd pass that along.

I am also fine with anything on the menu Kristin.

Will we have a coffee pot in the HS? No doubt Brendon will be willing to go and fetch donuts and bagels. I'm thinking it is unlikely he will lounge about in his jammies though.

Did we have a local or driving person bringing a DVD player? I can toss the itty bitty one I use in the van in my luggage if we need it.

I'm sure we can get a coffee pot if I ask. I'll do so when I check in. I think Saturday mornng cartoons in our jammies sounds fantastic, btw. Also, no we don't have a DVD/VCR, so it would be great if you could bring yours, Laura. There should be a TV in there, however.

quoted from Press

I wanted to see if there's a new point person for the Commander's Palace meal since Vortex isn't coming and several others, including me, are going to have to plead poverty and find something else that evening.

DX is in charge of the 6PM reservation and I am in charge of the 7PM reservation. Each reservation is for 8 people (16 total). There doesn't seem to be a penalty for cancelling (my email confirmation said "you may change or cancel this Reservation at any time") so I would recommend waiting until the last moment before we reduce or cancel either one.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I don't do seafood, but any of the chicken or kebobs would be fine.

Also, what Jon said.

I'll also mention that Commanders does have a dress code.

Dress is upscale, jackets preferred at dinner. No Shorts.

Our wings are not tired

I can say conclusively I will NOT be wearing that under my kilt.

Our wings are not tired.

Bwah! One size might fit most, but I'll pass.
