You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So am I, although I'm pretty sure I've already mentioned it.

We need a list.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The classic Buffista/Bitch conversation - Spike, corsets, babies, then lists.

Our wings are not tired

So that still puts us at under 20 right now. Does it sound like a good idea to look into cancelling the ballroom for the event Saturday night and just go with the hospitality suite? I'm not even sure we'll be able to do that, but right now it's a small group and the plans were made assuming a group of around 50.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's fine with me, but the Prom's never been a big part of my F2F experience.

Yeah, I think it's for the best.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It sounds like it would make sense to tell the St. Louis that we expect to be a smaller group than we originally envisioned and see what they suggest. I poked my head into what I think is the room we have reserved for the Prom when Jessica was in town, and I don't think it was really huge. But if it's priced beyond our means now...well, I guess we should do something else.

Our wings are not tired.

At least a discussion with the hotel on making the change. I don't know the details of the contract. I've enjoyed the last few Proms very much, but the smaller outings were the most fun. Lounging around the HS and nattering F2F also a big hit with me.

Another unknown is how many last minute folks might be attending. Or those attending but haven't been to the thread recently to add their name to the list.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Should someone stick something in press, asking who else is going or thinks they might go?
