The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm so glad you all had such a good time in Ohio. I wish I could have been there. The internet connection I am stealing from my neighbor is too slow and unreliable to look at pictures, but I can't wait to do so tomorrow night.

Thanks for sharing the OH pictures - looks like you all fun. And ice cream. Deena's new hair is fab!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I will be in NOLA.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'll be in NOLA, husband in tow.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Unfortunately, due to Uncle Sam having his wicked way with me unlubed, I will not be in NOLA. I'm very unhappy about it, but I'm trying to buy a place and need my cash right now.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So someone else will have to organize the Commander Palace then!

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Rats! That sucks, Vortex—you'll be missed.

I would offer to coordinate the Commander's Palace dinner, but I have a pretty tight margin between arrival time and the reservation time we discussed (also, abyssmal luck organizing dinners and parties, which should always be considered).

Edited to say I just reserved my room for Saturday and Sunday - no difficulties with the room rate, so that seems to be cleared up (for the moment, anyway). Parking was quoted as $19/day, which is slightly higher than I vaguely remember, but still probably better than public garages.

Attention SF-istas! My husband and I wil be in your fair city for a wedding on May 1st. Naturally, a lot of our time is tied up with going to the wedding and asscociated activities, but we appear to have Saturday night (and possibly afternoon) free. I would love to see as many of you as possible!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have made F2F reservations. I'll be arriving Thursday the 19th and leaving Sunday the 21st. I will be traveling by train.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

How does the train compare to air in terms of time/money trade-off?
