Our wings are not tired.

Thank you Toms for the pictures!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Now I want to build my own Glowhenge.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Where'd you guys end up going to dinner? I had company during the day and wasn't able to make it down there early.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

At that Thai place just next door to Quimby's. (I forget the name, but it used to be Hi Ricki.)

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

There are definitely people in those pictures who I can't identify. I feel like a bad Buffista.

[These are my stream-of-consciousness reactions to Scola's pictures]:

It's Hec! And he's reading his book! And talking to....a puppet?

Good god, Scola has the best smile EVAH.

Interesting rat puppet.

Knut!

Erinaceous is so cool.

The glow sticks are super cool. Though I've never been in a bar that served drinks with glow sticks in them.

[And now Tommyrot's pictures]

Quimby's looks COOL!

I covet Miriam's curly hair.

Speaking of hair, DAMN, Hec -- yours is long!

And....I still don't know who some of those people are. Who's the guy sitting next to Madrigal in the dinner pictures? And the guy sitting next to erinaceous? And the guy sitting between Miriam and tommyrot -- is that Knut? I can't tell b/c he's not wearing glasses.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Who's the guy sitting next to Madrigal in the dinner pictures?

Madrigal's got a boyfriend.

And the guy sitting next to erinaceous?

That's erinaceous's DH.

And the guy sitting between Miriam and tommyrot -- is that Knut?

Yep.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

At that Thai place just next door to Quimby's.

That place we almost went to?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Is that ChiKat sitting on David's right? Or Kathy Astrom? And then who's the person sitting between her and Madrigal's boy? Is aurelia in any of these pictures? I realize I don't know what many of the Chicagoistas look like.

erinaceous looks very much like the woman who runs one of my favorite local bookstores, who is smart and sweet and awesome.

I don't remember. Although we might have almost went to Pot Pan, where P-C and I had lunch. That's about two or three blocks away.
