I know I'm a bad poet, but I'm a good man. All I ask is that... is that you try to see me—

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That place we almost went to?

I don't remember. Although we might have almost went to Pot Pan, where P-C and I had lunch. That's about two or three blocks away.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Is that ChiKat sitting on David's right? Or Kathy Astrom?

ChiKat has short-ish blonde hair, and Kathy has dark hair that's between chin- and shoulder-length.

Yeah.

Or Kathy Astrom?

She's to ChiKat's right.

Is aurelia in any of these pictures?

She had to work late that night. She showed up at Miriam's, but I didn't take any pictures there.

When I get time I'll have to put proper captions on that page....

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think the order was Hec, ChiKat, Kathy A, then Madrigal's BF.

Such a fun weekend. So cool that Hec talked Madrigal into coming down. And then Scola shows up, and virtually all the Chicago area Buffistae managed to put in an appearance at some point. (I missed aurelia, though. Hi!)

I had a friend with me on Saturday for the reading, and it was so funny making introductions at the dinner table. "This is David. And David. And this is Kathy, and next to her is...Kathy. Oh, but here's Tom! And, um, Tom."

Somehow I managed to take one picture and appear in none. I'm not very good at this camera thing.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

"This is David. And David. And this is Kathy, and next to her is...Kathy. Oh, but here's Tom! And, um, Tom."

Ha! That's great. Man, I wish I'd been able to go. At least now I have a couple more faces to put to the names.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I managed to do neither, so you're one up on me. I agree about the turnout being awesome, though.

Sorry for not getting pictures of everyone. I was afraid of being "annoying picture-taking guy" so I limited my photo-ing....

Our wings are not tired

So good to see Knut. He was one of the first Buffistas I ever met, right after Juliana.

Not a problem. I'm very much in favor of "better safe than sorry" on this in general. Also not big fan of having my picture taken most of the time anyway, so less blinding by camera flashes=good in my book. (Which is funny because I'll get disappointed when there is no photographic evidence of my existance, but will often not like the acquiring of or my appearance in said evidence when it does exist.)

I can't even.

Well, understood, but you have to remember there is a larger, wider audience to be served here. Those of us at home are keen to see pictures of our fellow Buffistas in action and be jealous we weren't there amongst the foamy.
