I agree Heather, but he seems to suffer if he is without wheels. Hopefully he will give up the notion. We were in DC without car, but both times we have been to New Orleans we had transport.

F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
DX, this link KristinT "F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?" Dec 30, 2004 3:50:48 pm PST is probably worth putting up as it has all of the final info about the hotel.
Okey doke. I put it back in the header.
Well, each of the restaurants Heather listed had websites. These internets are gettin real popular. Links added.
That page is great! Thank you!
Phew! Refresh again. All the links are in. Now I just need to search on any details about the hospitality suite and prom stuff.
(This is excellent for avoiding work)
Fruit loops:
I copied and pasted some prom and hospitality suite info, but I need a Kristin and ND review please as it seems confusing.
No need to provide links to past conversations. Even if I didn't remember, I would have believed you. As to the Commander's Palace reservation, I haven't adjusted it yet, since so many people wanted to join, I thought I'd wait until closer in to get a final tally.
Thanks Vortex. I had to search back to remember the name of the restaurant, so I figured I might as well put the links in while I was at it.
Laura, the page rocks.
A couple of things--there's a mistake in my text toward the bottom that talks about "free finger foods" (I had corrected that in a later post--we will be paying for the appetizers up front, but they are not techincally free). You could probably just cut that part.
Also, there's shuttle that goes directly from the airport to the hotel for something like...$25 round trip, and it's evidently by far the cheapest way to get in. Is that on there? I think I may be blind, so apologies if so.
If it's the same shuttle I took in January, it's $13 per person each way. (The taxis charge $28 for 1 or 2 people, and an extra $12 per person after that, so after tipping it works out more or less even with the shuttle.)
