Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

I'm getting the pig!

When Lee visits in March, I will stock my refrigerator with nothing BUT Swiss cheese.

Oooh! Good idea. And I still have four weeks to stock up. Sweet!

What the DFW area? I'm a little baffled as to why anyone would come here on purpose.

I had a great time a few years ago in Fort Worth, attending a film festival and exploring Sundance Square. It made for a nice weekend getaway.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dana, I'm at O'F's with you, if I'm allowed.

Absolutely.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Just don't have your heart set on Swiss cheese when you're staying with Lee.

Pfft. I might buy some. I mean, when you were here for W&H, I bought bacon.

When Lee visits in March, I will stock my refrigerator with nothing BUT Swiss cheese.

You Suck.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

There are some neat things here, but flights can be expensive, most of the cheaper hotels are waaay up 75 or 35 and out of the inner city where most of the cool stuff is. Of course, that's Dallas and may not be Ft. Worth, which I'm not crazy about because it seems a little too clean downtown.

I like clean downtowns. I could walk around and not feel in danger of being mugged all the time. (Though a panhandler did zero in on me the instant I got my luggage out of my car...)

At night there was a neat vibe to the square, with street performers and sidewalk artists and such. It was like Jackson Square, but without all the drunks and hookers.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

When Lee visits in March, I will stock my refrigerator with nothing BUT Swiss cheese.

You Suck.

You keep saying that. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I don't have fear of being mugged in our downtown. There are parts of South Dallas that are really bad, stuff I thought only existed in movies bad. Which sucks because the creeks and green areas and old houses are cool.

Kristin? Whenever you're around, can you email me your address? I'm going to put the check in the mail at lunch.

Also, when I call the hotel, I just tell 'em I need a room and I'm with the buffistas? Are we all pronouncing it the same way? Should we put the contact info for the hotel in an easy to get at place, like the first post or something?

Now tagless for your comfort.

When Lee visits in March, I will stock my refrigerator with nothing BUT Swiss cheese.

Owen loves Swiss cheese and can't wait until March.
