We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

The status is NOT quo.

Did you have a great time? My first F2F was a revelation. I had such a blast.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am currently sitting on P-C's sofa, hijacking someone's wireless (ah those "linksys" networks), while he gets work done.

It is strange for the temperature to gradually fall over the course of a day, but driving north does that.

Our wings are not tired

I'm jealous of all the Buffista seeing folks.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Is it sufficiently sofa-y?

I know P-C has been having trouble getting ahold of the Miracleborns (who are undoubtably busy with new!baby and family and friends). Even if he can't get ahold of them, beathen and I are going to carpool out to Ann Arbor Saturday to visit with you and P-C.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yay! He said he talked to Joe this morning (briefly, as phone problems), and they have dinner plans. This is all I know. I got up very early this morning.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Looking at N.O. flights, I could save about $65 by flying from Milwaukee instead of Chicago - which would also enable me to drop the dog off before I went. But I need to fly back to Chicago Sat a.m., and I need to be there fairly early or i'm hosed.

What I'm seeing is a flight that connects in Chicago How much of a hubbub would it cause to just, you know, get off? Assuming I didn't check any bags, of course.

It's the same freaking flights. I don't know why I should get a discount by making them take me on two entirely superflous flights just to get myself on the two flights in the middle, but whatev.

This is the kind of thing which sends off major security alerts now, after 9/11. It's seen as highly suspiciouis.

Yeah, that's what I thought. But still, people miss planes. As long as there's no bags checked, I would think it wouldn't be too big a deal. Hell, I could even tell them. If it was on the way, I wouldn't do anything of the sort, of course, but on the way back I'm not sure it wouldn't work out.

If I only had a brain...

If you book a connecting flight round-trip and don't take the connection, the airline automatically cancels the rest of the round trip.

Yup, but this is on the way back - I don't ever need to take that last flight. Must ponder.
