You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Perhaps it will be a little metal stand upon which one can display a CD of the OS.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

It'll be some kind of PPC board, apparently. You can get AmigaOne's which run it, however there are only 950 of them in the world actually made.

Ah, Amiga. I never could quite understand how they weren't more popular.

A lot of it was because the morons Jack Tramiel left behind when he left Commodore had no idea how to market it properly.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So I finally upgraded my MacBook to Firefox 2.0, and now I've lost the ability to get the 'right-click' menu by holding down the mouse button while on a link.

What's up with that?

I didn't see anything in Firefox preferences about this....

Actually, I'm not 100% sure it was the Firefox update that did this. Maybe it was an OS X update, or it happened the other day when I plugged a three-button mouse in?

OK, if you are a moron and forget your mac admin password, where is the hint thingie located? I'm pretty sure I can derive it from that, but I can't even recall where that is....

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

sarameg, I think it's the question mark, if there is one in the logon window. Alternatively, your admin settings should prompt you with the hint question after three or four attempts to login. Other than that, you might need to go into the command line to reset it.

ETA: I'm regretting upgrading to Firefox 2.0 on my PC, because it randomly just decides not to load pages. Not because the internet is broken, or the router needs to be reset; even after all that is done, it just won't acknowledge the link I'm clicking or URL I've entered or refresh button. It affects IE and Flock, too. Fucking annoying. I have to restart the computer every time. Makes a girl want to switch back to Opera.

sarameg, if you go to System Preferences / Accounts / Password, and click Change Password, does the hint show up? or is that just a place to enter new hints?

eta: Come to think of it, I don't think it makes sense for it to already be there....

And if you can't even decipher the damned hint?

Then you are too clever for your own good.

What's the hint? If I may ask.

The most recent upgrade (2.0.0.1) broke a lot of themes, so if you're using a non-default theme, that may be the source of the problem.
