Apparently it's a secret announcement. Either that, or evil forces got to Daniel before he had a chance to finish.

Problem with URL having bad syntax, and my ISP cutting out.
Announcement from Slashdot:
AmigaOS 4.0 released. Really.
I so wanted an Amiga 20 years ago, but my parents couldn't afford one.
Nowadays, not so much.
The problem is that there's apparently no hardware available that can run AmigaOS 4.0.
I still have my Amigas (a 500 and a 2000), but I no longer have a working Amiga-capable monitor.
From the link:
According to Hyperion, the new hardware platform will be announced by third parties early 2007.
I poked around at the Hyperion site for a bit but could find no info on this. So I dunno what the hardware platform will be.
Perhaps it will be a little metal stand upon which one can display a CD of the OS.
It'll be some kind of PPC board, apparently. You can get AmigaOne's which run it, however there are only 950 of them in the world actually made.
Ah, Amiga. I never could quite understand how they weren't more popular.
A lot of it was because the morons Jack Tramiel left behind when he left Commodore had no idea how to market it properly.
So I finally upgraded my MacBook to Firefox 2.0, and now I've lost the ability to get the 'right-click' menu by holding down the mouse button while on a link.
What's up with that?
I didn't see anything in Firefox preferences about this....
Actually, I'm not 100% sure it was the Firefox update that did this. Maybe it was an OS X update, or it happened the other day when I plugged a three-button mouse in?
