Well bother. iTunes will play the video I encoded, no problem. But it informs me that the video will not play on the iPod, and thus has not been imported to it. Anyone have any helpful suggestions?

I've never tried it, but my 78 year old mom uses it all the time to talk to relatives overseas.

I use it to contact my family at home, and my Brazilian flatmates are on it all the time to their families. It's easy to use, usually you get a pretty good connection, and very intuitive. I like that you can also purchase call time to ring a regular phone, in addition to the free VOIP to Skype users. I wish more people used it! I miss talking to people from home.

I find that Instant Handbrake makes files that work with iPod every time, along with being easier to use.
Ack! My internets are letting me down this weekend - when I connect wirelessly, I keep getting either no connection or connected with "limited or no connectivity". Any thoughts on what might be happening?

Open it in Quicktime and then "Export to iPod"
(I don't think you need QT Pro for this.)
