Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Anyone use Skype? Thoughts?

I use it to contact my family at home, and my Brazilian flatmates are on it all the time to their families. It's easy to use, usually you get a pretty good connection, and very intuitive. I like that you can also purchase call time to ring a regular phone, in addition to the free VOIP to Skype users. I wish more people used it! I miss talking to people from home.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

All I know is that the iPod requires video at a specific resolution to play. (Don't know off-hand what that resolution is.)

Um, 320x 240? Somewhere around there.

I find that Instant Handbrake makes files that work with iPod every time, along with being easier to use.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ack! My internets are letting me down this weekend - when I connect wirelessly, I keep getting either no connection or connected with "limited or no connectivity". Any thoughts on what might be happening?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Anyone have any helpful suggestions?

Open it in Quicktime and then "Export to iPod"

(I don't think you need QT Pro for this.)

The "Export" option is greyed out in my copy of Quicktime, so it looks like I would need the Pro version to do that.

I'll give Instant Handbrake a try today. I could have sworn I had the resolution for the video set to the proper size for the iPod, but I'm not certain.

Thanks for the help, gang!

Our wings are not tired

The new iPods will actually use 640x480 files even though the screen doesn't support them. When they are displayed on a larger display it makes a big difference.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Jilli, if the video will play in iTunes, see if you have a "convert to iPod format" option under the Advanced menu.

Oooh, let me try that.
