Okay, you may want to change your pop access to "everything that comes from now on" just to see if anything is getting through. That's a lot of email and sometimes (IME) the gmail pipe can't handle it all at once.
Well, my e-mail currently only has about seven e-mails in it, so...I don't think that's the issue exactly. It won't even connect to the server! I'll try, though.
Anyone remember the name of Gud's IP detection program? It's for Linux (Gnome, I think) and he keeps it at Freshmeet or somesuch....
I'm waiting for the PC that I keep around to just burst into flames. It's a little 3.0 GHz Celeron and it is currently pulling multiple shows off of our two Tivos, while also converting files to be ready for my iPod, and on top of that preparing mapsets in my Garmin software so that they can be uploaded to the eTrex GPS. The CPU has been pegged at 100% for at least 36 hours now. It's either going to combust, or give me the finger.

Perhaps no one but me might find this useful, but....
Windows/Mac/Unix (Firefox): The Aging Tabs Firefox extension keeps an eye on your open Firefox tabs, highlighting your active tab and fading the aging tags that you haven't used in a while.
If you're someone who's perhaps a little too tab-happy in Firefox (a pack-rat for tabs, perhaps?), Aging tabs could be a great way to find the tabs that are ripe for the chopping block.
Not only do I tend to have multiple tabs open - I usually have multiple Firefox windows open, with multiple tabs open. Sometimes I even have Firefox open on multiple computers....
