I liked Mushroom's comment about the colour scheme. Bluey, my old boss at the porn shop, is colour blind and based on the colour schemes he came up with for things like the gift certificates we had, he would probably find Hotdog Stand to be perfectly acceptable. Thank Bob he is computer illiterate and never figured out how to change the colour sceme on the work computer.

Hey, peeps. I'm trying to figure out if there is a Dublin Core application profile for hardware/software documentation. Also, we're using DocBook and don't want to customize. Would adding DC be considered a customization? How would you add it?
Yeah, I saw those today, and it is incomparably valuable if only for the hack of how to get the damn script-running dialog box from never showing up again.

Ha! Found it. 3 Ways to Make Old Extensions Compatible with Firefox 2.0.
And method #2 worked for both my favorite theme, and LJHook.
Heh, I just figured out one reason why my theme was listed as incompatible. It doesn't display the Extensions and Themes menus properly. Not a surprise since that was one of the bigger changes in the interface, but hey, ironic.
Anyone ever used these?
Mac OS X only: Each time the Mozilla guys roll out another major release of Firefox , blogger and developer Neil Lee releases his optimized versions for Macs.
That means if you're a Firefox lover and you're rocking a G4, G5, or Intel Mac, you might want to download your specific version and give it a try. I know a lot of Macsters who swear by the optimized builds, which supposedly offer performance enhancements specific to your Mac.

SO, question--I want a new computer, but since for now I've got the work laptop, I'm not in a huge huge rush. Is there any reason I should wait, before buying a new MacBook? Anyone have any ideas how likely an update/new prices is, in the next couple months?
