Trust my rage

I think this was clarified before, but i use izaguirres at mac dot com for AIM and it works fine. I think for non-iChat people, it shows up as a full e-mail address.

About Macs for troops - I have not heard anything specific about special deals. I have heard you can get a "government employee" discount, but have never actually tried it as there has always been a student in the family and those deals were generally better.

Daniel, Excellent offer! Thanks for the pending expertise. I'll just DO that...only not right now.

Both non-worky towers (or are they desktops at a weird angle) are buried in my storage space. I'll dig them out while I'm doing my year-end karmic clearing this weekend and report back.

But now? The pre-dawn innkeeping duties bid me to my beddy.

'night all.

Can someone who speaks printer-driver-ese explain to me the difference between an HP driver that's PCL5c and one that's PCL6? I'm very confused.

DCJensen - Dec 30, 2004 6:17:35 pm PST #907 of 10003
All is well that ends in pizza.

Basically it's the language the computer uses to talk to the printer.

If your printer is having problems with PCL6, it's best to use PCL5 or PCL5e.

Most printers will function fine with the PCL5, but the PCL6 is the newest version and still evolving.

Thanks DCJ. On your advice, I downloaded the PCL6 and it's working perfectly so far.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is a naive and foolish question, but does there exist a program that allows you to run SQL queries directly against an XML file, as opposed to importing the XML data into a database first?

I ask because there are many times I'd love to run an SQL query against my iTunes music collection.

They're working on something called "XQuery", which is an SQL-like language for XML. Most implementations are in the experimental stage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does Dell have stores? If I need the photo cartridge for the Dell Photo AIO Printer 922, is there anywhere I can get it other than their web site?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

They often have kiosks in malls.
